Full Steam Ahead!!!
Since the monicle went reasonably well, I decided to make a full set of googles, and while I was at it, I decided to add more "Punk" to my Steampunk.







Some of you asked about construction so:

Here are the pipe I found at lowes to use as the base.


Here I've cut them down to the general shape of the eyepieces.



I polished them up and added some leather arounfd the back to keep them from cutting my face off.




and you saw the finished Goggles up top. They work as fully functional "Brass Goggles". The Lenses were cut of translucent plaxy on my laser. I can make them in Red,Blue,Green,Yellow, and opaque black (to be used as blindfolds)The Gas Mask is vented and just alot of fun. If I were to sell them, I would have to charge about $125 for the goggles and $90 for the masks. Those numbers are just estimates. The would always be custome made

looks like a leather strap connected by rivets that are also holding the leather lining on.

I like these! (I also liked the cool little watch gears(?) on the monocle.) Coupled with the mask and the top hat, you ARE a Doctor Who villain. David Tennant beware!

made a mask somewhat like that back in March http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/50589769/ quite fun, have a few commisions so far, though people are being nice and paying me in materials.
